• Up to 23 months of experience from their initial OR hire date
• Current full-time or part-time employment in perioperative nursing, education, administration, research, or clinical practice

Flexible Testing Designed for Today's Nurses

CCI's continuous testing model makes certification more convenient than ever. Candidates are no longer limited by fixed testing windows and can schedule their exam during their 12-month eligibility period after application approval. The first exam attempt is included with the application fee, and retakes can be scheduled as needed within the eligibility period.

The exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, a testing time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, and pass or no-pass results delivered through a computer-based format. This flexible approach allows nurses to plan their certification journey around their work schedules and personal commitments.
